Make-Up Must Have

I have always been a very loyal Bobbi Brown make-up girl. However, while digging through my make-up bag this morning I found my Laura Mercier Eye Cream in Platinum. I cannot explain how great this product is and what it does to your eyes. It is the perfect peachy, goldish, silver color. I know that sounds weird, but that is the color. I can wear it alone, or with a smudge of brown eyeliner. It is also perfect for highlighting your cheeks, brow bone, and the inside corners of your eyes. I cannot praise this product enough. Go buy it. Be sure to check out my Fall Fashion post on Parish's blog tomorrow. It is a good one!
Until next time,

Hello my name is Amanda, and I am addicted to Polyvore.

I know I am always a little behind on the newest techno stuff. However, once I discover something, i.e. Twitter and Pinterest, I am addicted. My latest obsession is Polyvore. This site is amazing!!!! You can create any type of outfit your heart desires. The look is complete from your fingers to your toes...literally. Below are some of my looks. I have them posted on Pinterest as well, and plan on creating many more. I think I might even do a few posts on outfits to rooms. Why not!

I created the outfit above for a fun girl's night out. I am so in love with these leopard booties. I am also totally into the tassel earrings. I might have to buy those, to support the cause. Below is a fantastic outfit I created for a wedding or cocktail party. I love Roarke necklaces. They look great with a cocktail dress or a plain white t-shirt.

I am going to wear the outfit below everyday this fall. I tracked down the Tory Burch flats in Chicago, and they are en route to Montgomery as I type! The only thing I am worried about is my huge thighs is those tight red jeans. Thanks goodness I invested in Abcuts. :)

This green dress keeps me up at night. I will buy this, oh yes I will. Mom, if you are reading this, possible gift for your favorite and only child.

This outfit was created with a date night in mind for Paul and I. Its a little bit country(Paul), and a little bit rock n roll(me). A perfect combo for dinner and drinks in the booming metropolis of Montgomery, AL.

And last, but not least, Game Day!! Roll Tide!!!!! I will always love the idea of a fabulous dress and heels. Parading from Gallettes to the stadium. Those were the days!! But reality has set in, and I am not a college girl anymore. Tear. So this is my laid back version of Game Day. Who knows, I might trade the flat boots in for a pair with killer heels.

Until next time,

Amanda

La La Lavender...

I have had lavender on the brain lately. Our sweet Vervain rep came in yesterday, and I swear every memo I ordered was lavender. It is so soft and feminine without being frou frou...do you know what I mean? I have spent the lastfew nights on my new sofa thinking, what is missing? I think I need some color. I love color, but typically limit it to small pops in my house. I do think some lavender throw pillows, a throw, or even a new piece of art with lavender, could really liven my living room up!! Below are some goregous images of la la lavender.

I need to add a little spark to my uniform...

I am the first one to admit I wear the same basic outfit everyday. I like a white tee and jeans. I also think a whit tee and jeans is a great canvas for some bold accessories. Here are a few that have caught my attention, and have been added to my wish list.

LULESTE MARKET MARBLE CHOKER

LOVE QUOTES(MY FAV) SCARF IN SUNSHINE

It finally came!!!!!

So do not shoot me for the terrible Blackberry photos. I am not going to lie, at first I wasn't sure I loved it, or even liked it. It is a big dramatic sofa. Then I thought about it, and I am a big, dramatic person!! It is perfect for me!! Jimmy Dean made an appearance in the photo too. The colors are way off, but you get the general idea. It makes me even more ready to do more stuff!! Sorry Paul!!

This is a better shot of the color. It is pattern Bristol Metal from Lee Industries. It is a rich grey-brown. It also has the most awesome sheen to it!!
Lolly is a big fan. She is the exact same color!! I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing...

New Kicks

These are my new Jessica Simpson Jungle wedges. I am totally obsessed, and wear them everyday. I want them so badly to come in black patent leather. Jessica if you read this make them in black patent leather please!!! He he, like she would every find this. They are very comfy and make my legs feel very long and much less chunky. In my book, they are golden. Buy them.

Mama needs a new bag...

I need a new bag to haul my laptop and junk around. I looked down at the bag I am using now and felt truly embarrassed. I will upload the fuzzy phone picture, so you can see the severity of this issue. Below are a few dream totes I would not be embarrassed at all to haul all of my junk.

Bad Bag...Terrible

Longchamp...classic.

Herve Chapelier...durable.

Tory Burch...fabulous.

Big Buddah...bold.

Kate Spade...chic.

So many beautiful choices. If I had my way I would have a different one for everyday. I will probably end up running to Target and choosing a simple black tote. Hey, there is nothing wrong with Target!

Needs Some Major Work!

Ok, I am having a hard time writing this post. Since my new sofa is on the way, and I promised pictures when it arrives, this is the before. I am very critical of my own "design work" at my house. I wish I had an unlimited budget and all the free time to make it exactly what I envision. Having said that, I do love our home. It has character and a warmth about it. So be patient and I will post the progress of our sweet house.

Since this photo a lot has changed. First and foremost I added some greenery. It makes a HUGE difference. I am thinking about doing a post on interior plants. What do you guys think? I need something that is hard to kill. I did not get my mother's green thumb!

Drapes are a must. They are next on my wish list. Luckily my husband agrees, so we will see how that conversation goes...advice is always welcome. Until next time.

a glimpse of our wedding...

I have to say my wedding day was truly the best day of my life. I married the sweetest guy a girl could ask for, and got to share it with my very closest friends. The weather was unbelievable, and not a cloud in sight. I was relaxed, because I was surrounded by all of my very best friends. I am sorry for the mushy post, but Paul and I are coming up on our 1st anniversary and I am feeling nostalgic. Here are a few pictures that only represent a percentage of the best day of my life!!
I have to thank the sweet Kathy Azzarello for this fabulous robe. I know that I am now Mrs. Reynolds, but I can't let go of this robe!
Isn't he handsome? I love him...

The most beautiful bridesmaids ever!! I mean come on!! Sweet Addie looks like I just ran over her puppy.

It was a full length Catholic mass and wedding. I seriously almost passed out, right around the time this picture was taken.

The reception was fun!!! I think this picture sums it up.
Yes, biegnets were served towards the end of the wedding. I did not get any...sad face.
He is going to kill me for this picture. He doesn't like to show off his bald head. It is growing on me.
The End. We were heading to Bermuda. It is amazing!! Go!! I might have to post some of those pictures too. Hope you enjoyed a glimpse into our wedding!

Love,
Mrs. Reynolds

A few of my favorite things...

I always see other bloggers doing a favorite things posts. I am going to make it a reoccurring item on Interior Philosophy. The first one is going to be a list of some of my favorite beauty products. Let me know what you think, and I will post anything from food to fabric!!
I love this blush so much. As my friends can attest(I made all of them try it on), it looks great on literally everyone. Bobbi Brown Antigua
I do not use many hair products. Shampoo and conditioner is about as fancy as I get, except for this miracle hairspray, Aveda's Air Control. It holds and doesn't make your head feel like a helmet. It also smells fantastic.
Essie is by far my favorite line of nail polish. I am loving this color right now..."Cute as a Button", and it is!!

Hands down best lotion. Makes my skin so soft, and is uber inexpensive.
This is a great lip gloss. It is not too sticky, and is a very pretty peachy-pink. I know my friend Sarah loves it.
Last and definitely not least, the Wonderbar. It totally lives up to its name. My skin is softer, pores smaller, and blemishes slowly fading to nothing. I love this product. Please try it!! I hope this isn't mind-numbingly boring. If it is, tell me and I won't make this a weekly feature. Ta-ta.

Love,
Amanda
